What is Ever Accountable?
Ever Accountable is a service that monitors the websites you visit and apps you use on your mobile device. It sends weekly reports to the accountability partners whom you specify.
What is accountability?
Have you ever heard it said that two are stronger than one? This is the key principle behind the idea of accountability. By allowing a trusted friend to have access to your browsing history and app usage, you are giving yourself an extra layer of protection in the fight against pornography.
Does Ever Accountable block or filter content?
As designed, our apps do not filter or block in any way. We have designed the app this way for a variety of reasons, and we’ll quickly touch on two of them. First, we want to help our users grow accountability and integrity for themselves. This is far different from setting up hard boundaries. Second, we want our app to interfere with the normal use of your device as little as possible. This means minimal battery usage, no decreased performance, and no limitations on your use of the internet.

Do you provide any training for accountability partners?
Yes! Once an AP has been notified that you’ve signed them up to receive reports, they will begin to receive a seven day training series on what it means to be an AP and how to do so effectively. This can be opted-out of at any time from within the email.
Plans & Pricing
How much does Ever Accountable cost?
Nothing for your first 14 days. Try it out before you buy! Individual pricing covers one user for all of his or her devices and starts at $6.99 per month. Family pricing covers all users in your household on all devices for just $9.99 per month. We also offer a discounted yearly rate of $69.99 per year for individual plans and $99.99 per year for family plans.
Do I have to pay per device?
No. Our plans are designed to give you access to the app on all your devices.
How do I pay?
You can subscribe via our dashboard using your debit or credit card. We use an online payment processor called Stripe. Stripe stores your payment details securely on their servers so it never reaches ours. Payments to us are 100% safe.
What if I want to cancel?
We understand that Ever Accountable is not for everyone. There might be a time when we have to part ways for whatever reason - hopefully temporarily. When we do, we make sure you are quickly taken care of and we’ll even look for opportunities to refund your money if you haven’t used a portion of what you’ve paid for!
How do I cancel my trial?
There’s nothing to cancel. We never bill you without your permission, so if you haven’t already entered your payment information into our system and started your subscription, then all you need to do is let your trial expire. No need to get in touch with support if you don’t want to, but we’d love to hear why you’ve decided not to continue with a subscription to Ever Accountable. Email email@example.com to let us know why you’ve decided not to purchase.
Do you offer any other methods of payment?
Currently, we do not offer any other methods of payment for Ever Accountable subscriptions.

Platforms & Browsers
What devices are supported by Ever Accountable?
Currently, we support Android phones and tablets, Amazon Kindle Phone and Kindle Readers, Windows PC’s, Google Chromebooks, and iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) via our Sunlight Browser.
What browsers and apps are monitored?
On Android and Kindle devices, we monitor all apps by default with the exception of certain system apps and most email or text messaging apps. All Android and Kindle browsers are monitored.
On Windows, every major web browser is monitored. If you have a particular question about your browser of choice, email that to email@example.com.
On ChromeOS, support is made possible by our Ever Accountable Chrome Extension. We fully support Chromebook, however, we do not fully support the Chrome extension on Windows, MacOS, or Linux.
On iOS, we monitor only via the Sunlight Browser, which is our iOS browser modelled after Safari. During installation, we walk you through a set-up process that helps limit internet usage to only Sunlight Browser to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting. (This limitation in iOS is due to Apple’s restrictive nature, and is the best solution possible on iOS at this time.)
Does Ever Accountable monitor in incognito and secret browsing modes?
Yes, we monitor all content viewed in these modes. Please note that reports will not indicate that content was viewed in incognito or secret browsing modes.
Monitoring & Reporting
What information gets monitored?
We monitor and report the websites and other content you view as well as the time spent on each app. Monitoring for an app can be disabled. However, disabling will be indicated very clearly on the report sent to your accountability partner.
Can I alter a report or cancel a report from being sent to my accountability partner(s)?
Consistent with the theme of accountability, it is not possible to change a report or keep it from being sent. We don't even have an internal system in place to allow us to do so. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Can I get my own reports?
You sure can! We encourage it, in fact. Add yourself to your list of accountability partners and you’ll receive that report each week so you can see what you’ve been up to!
What happens if I cancel my account?
We will send a final report to your accountability partners letting them know that you have canceled your account with us.
For Accountability Partners
What if the user uninstalls or disables the app?
If the user of Ever Accountable uninstalls or disables monitoring on his or her device, you will be notified and that time period for which there was no monitored activity will be noted clearly on the report.

What if the user denies something that’s on a report?
If you have a question about a reported item or need some clarification on how to read the reports well, please reach out to email@example.com and we’ll gladly help. Please understand, however, that our support team exists to provide technical assistance and is not trained or equipped to provide relational advice. The report is a good place to start, but it is not intended to be a weapon to use against the user. Please refer to the accountability partner trainings.

What if I cannot get Ever Accountable set up correctly during my trial period?
If you experience any issues during your free 14-day trial period, let us know so that we can extend the trial. That will give you some exposure to our awesome support team and give you enough time to try Ever Accountable before you make a decision to buy or not.
